Reading for Research Month (ReFoReMo) is a free online course, every March, that encourages writers to read / study and discuss over 100 contemporary picture books. http://www.reforemo.com.
Now you can enlarge and enrich the ReFoReMo experience with four -in-person Sunday afternoon (2;00 pm to 4:00 pm) discussions (February 25, March11, March 25 and April 8) to review and discuss todays best picture books. Description: The online site ReFoReMo was created by an author/teacher to encourage the reading, studying, and discussion of 100+ current picture books during the month of March in order to understand better the forms, markets, and craft of writing them. Now you can enlarge and enrich the online experience with three in-person discussion groups led by Carole. She is a member of the Ohio North chapter of the Society for Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Carrie Brown and Kirsti Call, the founders of ReFoReMo will skype with participants in a Q & A format during the first meeting.
